If you haven't seen this show yet, please go turn on your television to the Travel Channel. Odds are, this show is on right now.
Gross? A little. Entertaining? Highly.

I for one, can't stomach watching that gross hot dog eating contest or anything else involving shoving lots of food into one's mouth. But this show is totes different!
From the Travel Channel's Web site: "host Adam Richman sets out to travel the country in search of the best places to do some serious indulging. Adam begins his quest to find the best traditional food the nation can serve up."
Basically, he goes to a city, samples some of it's "big eats", before competing in a food challenge of sorts, like multiple sandwiches or huge pizza or ice cream sundaes. Fun, right!
Somehow, it's all very entertaining. I think the host is quite charming! I mean, if I have to watch someone attempt a breakfast burrito the size of a small child, it would have to be him.
Sometimes, when eating something very large, I like to pretend that I'm on the show. See if I, (wo)man, can beat food. One time, Shelby and I did it together with a huge burrito. But could I have done it alone? No, food probably woulda whooped my ass.
